The Hidden Brew is a speciality coffee shop tucked into Cobden Chambers in Nottingham. We believe great coffee should be easy to enjoy, whether you know your washed from your natural or you just want a really good flat white. Our aim is simple: the best speciality coffee experience we can offer, and an accessible one.

Our house espresso and most of our guest beans come from Assembly Coffee. It is the backbone of what we do, and it is a roaster we trust to be brilliant day in, day out. Alongside it you will find a line-up on the brew bar for anyone who wants to taste something a little different, brewed on filter or pour-over. Decaf, oat and iced options are always on the house.

We like trying new brewing tools and equipment, and we love explaining them. If you are curious about why we use an Origami for one coffee and a V60 Neo Switch for another, just ask. We would rather you leave knowing a bit more than you did when you came in.

We host pop-ups, takeovers and nights with local DJs and roasters, we also sell arts and crafts from local makers with 90% of the profits going to them. We are always looking for new ways to collaborate with the local community, so if you have an idea, get in touch.
